String Orchestra of New York City with pianist Matthew Graybil: The monumental Piano Quintet by Cesar Franck is one of the truly great achievements in chamber music. String players from the String Orchestra of New York City: Violinists Anna Sunghae Lim and Keiko Tokunaga, violist Jessica Thompson and cellist Josh Halpern join forces with pianist Matthew Graybil for our season finale. Audiences will also be treated to a short work by the German Romanticist Max Bruch.
Concerts in the Heights is thrilled to continue the partnership with the Lehman College Art Gallery. This collaboration brings classical and contemporary chamber music to the Art Gallery in intimate concerts that seek to complement the current exhibits and add further beauty and interest to this cultural community. All concerts are open and free to the public.
